CineThis Privacy Policy describes how CineVault (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you visit our service. We last updated this policy in March 2024.
Information we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address, a hashed password, your display name and any opt-in preferences you provide.
While you stream, we record playback events to support resume, watchlists and recommendations. We retain anonymized request logs for 30 days for fraud and abuse prevention.
Cookies
We use first-party cookies to keep your session, remember interface preferences and enforce parental controls if enabled. We do not use advertising cookies, fingerprinting, or third-party analytics tags.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or otherwise transfer your information to third parties. Server logs may be processed by our hosting provider for security purposes only.
Children
CineVault is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
If you are a resident of the EU, UK or California, you have the right to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you. To make a request, email privacy (at) cinevault.example with proof of identity.
